A short stroll to stretch our legs (and, in some cases, wake us up) halfway back from Devon.Naturally, there was a pub en route - The Cross Guns at Avoncliff, next to the aqueduct where the Kennet and Avon Canal crosses the River Avon. As the designated non-driver, I was able to sample a couple of the beers from the nearby Box Steam Brewery - both excellent. Best beer of the trip.
